Echobox seeks to bring world class strategic advisory capabilities to a broad range of clients spanning public and private companies, private equity firms, and not-for-profit organisations.

Echobox founder Ian Mombru brings over 20 years of experience advising leading corporations in the US, Europe and in Asia; of which eight years were spent as a management consultant with McKinsey, and seven years as an investment banker with Lazard. While at McKinsey, based in in turn in Los Angeles, Amsterdam, and London, Ian advised clients across a broad range of sectors and functional issues, ultimately specialising in the Media & Entertainment sector. At Lazard, based in London, Ian focused on coverage and execution in the Telecoms Media and Technology (TMT) sector, and subsequently relocated to China to advise on cross-border transactions into and out of Greater China.

Ian holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD, an MSC from Stanford University, a B.Eng from Bristol University, and is trilingual in English, French and Spanish.
